A Grade 1 listed building, St Peter's Church near the end of Old Woking High Street dates from the early 12th century, with the upper part of the tower having been added around 1450. And It's most recent upgrade is a state of the art audio installtion. The upgrade has made it possible for the church to exceed all the technical requirements of a modern day venue. This vary from wedding's, funerals, worship bands and traditional services.

Once again Sound Analysts opted for a design with the Yamaha MTX processor based controller at the heart of the installation. For traditional services the main sound control panel is at the rear of the church with an option for iPad operation. However the Yamaha MTX auto mic mixer makes each service effortless which eliminates the need for an operator. With the press of a single button the system changes into mixer mode which will be used for services with a worship band. This allows a sound operator to control services from a Allen & Heath QU16 digital mixing console located on the balcony.

White EM Acoustics EMS 81x loudspeakers were wall mounted in the Nave. With additional EMS-41 loudspeakers covering the balcony levels. Then utilising existing infrastructure, small near-field Yamaha speakers provide coverage for the Chancel.

A combination of Sennheiser EW-D wireless and Shure MX gooseneck microphones make every sibilant of every single word crystal clear from front to back. A new induction loop system was also installed to help those with hard of hearing.
